| The Family Research Fund |
To encourage interest in family research and foster quality research on family trends and issues in Singapore, the Ministry of Community Development, Youth and Sports (MCYS) invites applications for the Family Research Fund (FRF).
The FRF is open to all undergraduates (Honours/equivalent), postgraduates and academic researchers at recognised universities (NUS, NTU, SMU and UniSIM) and affiliated research centres in Singapore. |
The FRF comprises two grant categories: |
- Grant for undergraduates
- Grant for postgraduate students, academics and other researchers
|
The FRF seeks to fund research on family trends and issues in Singapore. Applicants are invited to submit proposals based on two categories:
|
- Ground-up research on family
(Applicable to undergraduate researchers and postgraduate/academic researchers)
For an idea of relevant family research issues, refer to the Family Research Agenda
|
- Application based on focused research topics identified by MCYS
(Applicable to academic researchers only)
This aims to provide more focused research topics to potential applicants, to complement the ground-up approach to applications to FRF.
Applications submitted for these topics will not be given outright priority or preference over ground-up applications.
