| The Family Research Fund |
| To encourage interest in family research and foster quality research on family trends and issues in Singapore, the Ministry of Community Development, Youth and Sports (MCYS) invites applications for the Family Research Fund (FRF). The FRF is open to all undergraduates (Honours/equivalent), postgraduates and academic researchers at local Institutes of Higher Learning (IHLs), i.e. NUS, NTU, SMU and UniSIM. MCYS targets to provide up to 25 research grants per year. |
The two main components of the FRF are: |
- Grant for undergraduate research; and
- Grant for postgraduate and academic research.

For undergraduates, the closing date of application shall be on 31 December 2008. Successful applicants will be notified of the results in February 2009.
For postgraduates, academics, and other researchers, the closing date of application shall be on 31 January 2009. Successful applicants will be notified of the results in April 2009.
