We are here to help

Are you facing difficulties? Do you know a neighbour who needs help?

The Government is committed to helping those in need. Under the Community Care Endowment Fund (ComCare), there are various schemes to help you and your family. For example, if you have lost your job or suffer ill health, ComCare can help you cope with your rental and utilities charges, your medical and your children's education fees. The scheme also provides help to upgrade your skills so that you can get another job.

You do not need to worry about which scheme to apply for. Just approach the Community Development Councils (CDCs), Citizens' Consultative Committees (CCCs) or the Family Service Centres (FSCs) near you, and our staff will be pleased to help you.

You can also approach any Voluntary Welfare Organisations and Self-Help Groups, like Mendaki, Singapore Indian Development Association (SINDA) and the Chinese Development Assistance Council (CDAC). If you have children studying, their schools, Junior Colleges, Polytechnics, Institutes of Technical Education and universities also have financial assistance schemes.

Please call the 24-hour ComCare Call at 1800-222-0000.
